Another miserable day yesterday. 4 white fronts, 5 oystercatcher and 16 redpoll the best of the birds at Stanwick. The obliging otter again on the brook - this is the what happens when wild animals feel safe! #Northantsbirds

Still no sign of passage at Stanwick this morning but a badger trundling along the shoreline of the main lake was excellent. The mess left by Sundays visitors was staggering. The way people treat the countryside is depressing to say the least
