I think I've found a way to articulate what bothers me about the trajectory of the modern tech industry (and to some extent... society).

We are on this Earth to provide for each other. That's the "mission" of humanity as I see it.

This is incompatible with what the tech industry seeks to do.

The executive orders going out now are the death rattle of the insane child emperor and the GOP if they don’t do something.

Ending consumer rights? Removing US banking safety nets?

Why, or more importantly, how are American citizens going to do business here in the US?

I’m going to ask a legitimate question: If the US Treasury accounts are compromised- should we being paying taxes since we have no idea where this money is going? (Yes, we could say that “we don’t know where the money is going” for decades, but now seems more urgent)

I know it’s cliche, but it’s always darkest before the dawn. We need it to get dark so the rest of the country wake up to what is going on and finally say, “This is too far, ENOUGH!” And do something about it.
