Meet Furnesto, my first foster from MEHS. He's on as many mental health meds as I am. He's already snoring like a grown man on the couch next to me. Seems like this is starting well.

Enjoyed a great day of exploring Bellefontaine Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis yesterday with @sroberts80.bsky.social
The tomb of Dred Scott is composed of black stone with an inscription of his photograph and a description of his landmark court case. Several people have left coins as momentos. The headstone of General William Tecumseh Sherman is composed of gray stone and features 2 crossed flags and is inscribed with his name, birth date, death date and the epitaph “Faithful and Honorable”. People have left coins, roses, a re-colored photo of Sherman and an unopened package of shoelaces. A close up of a stone carved with the face of a snarling wolf. The wolf’s mouth is open and the teeth and tongue are visible. A photo of a weathered bronze statue of a veiled woman. The woman’s face is barely visible and she sits with her hands crossed in her lap. She is dressed in robes. The patina on the statue is green and black. There are pine needles and leaves that have settled on the statue.

I have a very specific set of photography skills: cemetery shots, and Dirt Cheap signage portraits. They shouldn't ever be combined.
