lrt is something I gotta really work on, I absolutely SUCK at networking, socializing, etc. and it's really limiting my ability to branch out and get myself out there
while it applies to art, it's also something I need to work on in general, I've had a history of being aloof and losing friends....

if you're young and choosing art as a career because "well art is fun and i suck at everything else!!", identify all the secondary skills and soft skills that go into art careers (ie time and finance management, working in a team, etc) and hone those skills above all else
