I've always loved that sandbox that is anti-examples. This article covers the benefits of this in learning | The Benefits of Anti-Models for Boosting Learning www.edutopia.org/article/powe...
The Benefits of Anti-Models for Boosting Learning

K-12 AI = nebulous chasm of nuance. Some are thrilled it's here to help. Some are petrified it's here to hurt. So, what is it? I often use the analogy of a hammer - a tool that can be used to create or to bludgeon. For teachers, it has a lot of potential to help. PD is needed! #demystifyAI #EduSkyAI

One of my favorite IES resources are the practice guides. There are 5 guides with the research about teaching math. Given the two stop work orders I received last night (to stop work on 2 upcoming IES STEM practice guides), I'd download these now.

@rastokke.bsky.social What research, if any, are you aware of with respect to instruction of fractions as corresponding to cognitive development (and associated age or grade level)? Heard a teacher talk about learning that 3rd grade was too early, but have not been able to find any evidence myself.
