If you are in London and have Down's syndrome or have a relative who does, please have a look at this project. At SquarePeg Training, we are always keen to support others developing new staff training videos!
We need help from adults aged 40+ with Down's syndrome and family/carers to make a film together to train health & social care staff.

We want you to share your experiences of falling & ideas about what helps you to move safely, to help staff to support you.

Please get in touch!

Design of the environment around us is just as important to people with a learning disability & dementia - but there may be differences. Think about the height of a person with Down's syndrome. Do chairs enable someone to keep their feet on the floor? Or are they are at increased risk of back pain?

SquarePeg Training was runner up in the Forth Valley HEAT (Highlighting Entrepreneurship All Together) 2024 competition, supported by Business Gateway. This was for businesses trading for less than two years and involved delivering a Dragon's Den style pitch. A great boost in our first few months!
