Sentences are hard. My confidence in what my self-assessment is saying is high. I could easily be wrong, but all the evidence available to me right now is saying the same thing.

As for why there is a gender split? I don't know! I think your theory is part of it, but I can only speak to my personal experience. I grew up with a pretty strong, rigid gender identity in contrast to my sister. I had strong, personal 90s style homophobia for myself. Queerness was unthinkable then.

I feel confident I'd be infinitely more flexible and less rigid in terms of dating than I was a decade ago. But not wildly closer to the middle of the Kinsey scale. An increase openness to experience hasn't changed my core preferences, as far as I can tell. 3/

But specifically, I've reflected multiple times on 1) what would happen if, heaven forbid, I was on the dating market again or 2) if my husband and I hadn't met through the life circumstances we did, but a different time and place. 2/

Regarding #3, I think that's one of those strong opinions weakly held sort of thing. My epistemic confidence is low, but my confidence in what my self-assessment. I would bet a lot of money that my feelings won't change in a month but very little that it wouldn't change in a decade. 1/

Well, here's some personal anecdata.

1) Internalized homophobia? Yes, but in a generic valueset way not in regard to personal attractiveness to women.
2) More wiggle room on the Kinsey scale than expected? Yes.
3) Secretly a bisexual? No, not even close. Not in the slightest.

So here are the next level-ups for you:
1) Have the AI implement 60% code coverage with automated tests. Have it add E2E tests with playwright.
2) Enforce type checking, linting, and code coverage with Git pre-commit and pre-push hooks.
3) Use subagents for code review, it'll save on tokens
