i didn't really migrate as such because i wasn't part of a swiftie community before. it was at a point where i had moved city and suddenly didn't have many people to talk to, and taylor swift was a bigger part of my life than ever before and i was getting really sad that i didn't have anyone in the world to yap about her with, when i saw the migration happening from afar and thought maybe i'll tag along. i hadn't made a fan account before (at least not for like, a decade) and ngl thought i probably wouldn't stick with it. what i didn't see coming was how lovely everyone would be. like literally as soon as i joined people were going out of their way to introduce themselves to me and include me in stuff without me even asking? this new website may have looked like twitter but it wasn't about projecting an image to the world and trying to make your follower count go up, it was about genuinely creating friendships, community, girlhood. and now i don't just have people to yap about taylor swift with but i have the most caring and beautiful and wholesome friends in the world. and i finally get to be what i was always destined to be: a hag fag. love you all to the moon and to saturn ✨🦋

one year since i’ve joined bluesky!! 🥹 i just want to say that i joined this app when i was really going *through it* (to keep it short), but i’m convinced this community was part of the reason i got my spark back. i met so many wonderful people here: the kindest, sweetest and funniest people. we lift each other up, we have fun, we comfort each other. this became a safe space for me to share my passions and my little joys. and that’s how my favorite and happiest version of myself was brought back to life. i’m sooo grateful for this and for all of you, seriously. i’m having the time of my life here with you. i love you all very very much

A year ago today I joined this wonderful site. I was at the lowest of the lows with a small glimmer of hope and I was riding the high of Indy N2. Little did I know I would find a space that would welcome me with open arms and accept me wholeheartedly. I've met some of my best friends who I can gladly call my people. This place is my safe space and my life has changed for the better since meeting all of you. I'm truly and unequivocally happy.
