yeah i was about to say it probably has something to do with the greater picture of development and how much was scrapped for no reason in favor of Every Bad Thing Possible but i also having no attempt to salvage it really makes you look so much worse bsky.app/profile/bren...
I believe it was cut because they cut the bar/club you go to during it so they just got rid of any quest that goes there

i don't think cutting that substory by itself is like a judge of someone's character especially since it was cut along with 70 others but how do you pick and choose the ones that stay and ones that don't and land on the conclusion that cutting that particular one in the current climate would be bad

i think this more than anything is what miller wants. vast detention camps with all of the suffering and death that means.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

I think this is downstream from how Trump was reasonably effectively constrained by institutions, the courts, and his own cabinet in his first term. Low-info, highly partisan voters looked at that and thought that he kind of was George Bush again but with weirder gaffes.
