I think things like "you can't be hypnotised to do something you don't want to do" can actually be a rather dangerous suggestion
Not only is it a LOT more nuanced than that, but I feel it also has the potential to bind the hypnotee into mindset wherein they're entirely unquestioning.

These same people are probably the folks who unironically believe that hypnosis is doing something *to* someone
HUGE red flag if they practice with that belief. lol

I don't get how some hypnotists think it's remotely okay or responsible to practice with clearly no understanding of building rapport or trust with people
