Keighley’s response tells you everything you need to know. The program didn’t live up to the promised hype and when the future class tried to push for changes the entire thing gets nixed? TGAs have always been Keighley centering the video games industry around himself.
There will be no The Game Awards Future Class for 2025. The previous Future Classes say they were used for positive publicity.

i love @zackzwiezen.com reporting. this reminds me of something @matpiscatella.bsky.social told me once about how there's still like single digit numbers of copies of games like Chrono Cross or w/e sold regularly because some retailer finds them in a back room somewhere.
