Anyone else getting sick of the pictures of cats, beaches, fungi and moons?

I mean, come on. We can look those up anytime. We don't need a feed full of them. Make this site more interesting please.

Just because someone feels uncomfortable that you're filming them in public, or that you posted a video of them walking in public, it's not enough to arrest someone. It's legal to film anyone in public. Clearly, stalking and harassment is a different kettle of fish.

What is it about watching snooker that feels nice and comforting and warm? Cricket also has that feeling, a bit, but most sports don't?

This is how 16 sports in the UK were ranked by eliteness (class) according to 50 people.

Not sure I agree entirely, but it seems fairly accurate.

The taking to port of the Chinese vessel Yi Peng 3 by the Danes, the ship suspected of severing the undersea cable, is worrying. It is this type of incident that could quickly lead to escalation, as we saw before the start of WWII. The EU, Denmark and Sweden should tread very carefully.

One of the worries about this site is that while it may escape the hateful nature of the other place, it risks being home to the perpetually-offended, a place where everyone's wannabe virtue and self-righteousness outweighs their logic. I'll try to stand grounded and logical, whatever.
