There's a local grocery store in my area that gives away their surplus stock to any customer who wants it for free rather than throw it out.

Not much done for #MGEF2026 day 4 but I did relight my 18s lamp. There are 3 or 4 songs I need to Excessive to get the lamp back to purple but I'm too tried to fix them right now lol

How difficult is it to implement Archipelago support into existing games, anyway? The fact that Doom and Doom II are on the core game list makes me wish functionality was available for Descent and Descent II, and you know what they say about the change you want to see in the world.

Played Mega Man 2 again for the friend group's archipelago last night and genuine question, has anyone who insists on its supremacy played ANY other game in the series' lineup? I honestly think the level design might be the worst in the entire franchise, let alone classic series.

He's already deleted the video, but let it be known for any of my RuneScape-playing followers that SirPugger uploaded the sloppiest of AI slop videos yesterday. Wish I'd thought to grab a screenshot of the non-euclidean 3-link handcuffs the police officer used to chain himself to the criminal.
While I've been sick, I've been delving extra hard into Archipelago stuff. Learned the basics of quite a big pile of games and continuing to expand on that list. Might add some multiworlds (both solo and group) to the streaming lineup.

Playing an indie RPG and fight the long-winded final boss. Fake-out! There's a story twist, including a choice that is explicitly prefaced with "THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DECISION" in colored text alongside saving being very pointedly disabled for this specific moment.
Interesting design choice.

Friends and I collectively listened to a YouTube playlist called "Worst Video Game Music Ever" and our collective takeaway is VGM is never allowed to be a little silly. 95% of the playlist was actually great.
