Tapped the 3 ancient maple trees in front of the house a few days ago. So far I have about 1.5 gallons of sap on the first flow yesterday! Here's my farm page if you want to follow me on FB.

The dye pot came out yesterday, so I made up these beautiful blue and green combed top Targhee and the two Cotswold skeins I spun up a few weeks ago. I love how saturated they came out! It'll be a fun spin.

Yesterday I spun up this lovely Shetland/English Angora blend yarn for a gifting project. Soooo soft and lofty! I think next I'll try it with some alpaca or silk next. The Shetland combed top came from Mohair and More on Etsy, the Angora is from my bunbun Clover.
