I just divorced myself from the Democratic party. It's not me, it's them. Took 3 minutes online.
I promise to never say the phrase "I am a REGISTERED INDEPENDENT" because I hate hearing phrase. I always assume it's because they don't want the shame of admitting the vote Republican all the time.

I’m already sick of the “good guy” Democrats referring to this as an “important night.”
I’m deflated to the point of saying IDGAF. There is no case to be made for optimism. The entire legislative branch is an oligarchy, preserving their own money and health and safety (for now) and screwing us.

The legislative branch is in an abusive relationship with the executive branch. There's no sign of them ending the relationship and they apparently can not be talked out of returning to the same pattern of abuse again and again.
