Can you unregister a block template bundled in a block theme?

unregister_block_template() is aimed more for plugins afaik.

I need to unregister a WC template when WC is not activated. @briancoords.com @elliottrichmond.co.uk anyone?

While talking performance, @felixarntz.bsky.social mentioned that switching from a classic theme to a block theme can be one of the biggest boosts to your site's web vitals number.

One benefit of WP controlling the theme's frontend is they can continually improve it.
