Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. The party quietly walk through the Underdark, Gale with a smitten smile for Aldiirn, who's leading them. Astarion leans in with a mean grin, "How's your sad, hopeless pining going?" "I'm hardly pining," Gale brushes off Astarion, "It's been a year since Mystra cast me aside." "I wasn't talking about Mystra," Astarion leers back, Aldiirn behind him. "Aldiirn~" Astarion calls and goes into a hushed conversation. Aldiirn whispers back, then addresses the others. "Shadowheart, Gale, will you be alright making it back to camp? Astarion and I going to investigate a likely Lolth-sworn cache." Shadowheart is unconcerned. "I think we can manage the journey." "I'll get a head start on dinner!" Gale chips in. With Astarion and Aldiirn gone, Shadowheart offers Gale some consolation. "Don't mind Astarion, he's all b--... All bite, really." Gale is puzzled.

The half-drow dream delivery team, the Halfsies! Aldiirn and his two courier mates, Caelryn (left) and Zahne (right) who all got split up when Aldiirn was abducted by the nautiloid. I had to do a full colour version of their appearance in Reintroductions :D #bg3 #art
The roar and whoosh of spray from a subterranean waterfall gives cover to the three half-drow - Aldiirn, Caelryn, and Zahne - who convened behind it. Water drips from stalactites down onto giant mushrooms just as insistently as Aldiirn references his delivery logs to the masked Zahne, in the midst of discussion. Then there's a signal from Caelryn, whose eyes gleam with excitement as he signals that a monster is nearby. The excitement is not shared by Zahne, who draws their two hand crossbows.

The Underdark is a lot cozier when you have a campfire, good food, and good company. 😁 This was the main background for Reintroductions so I put some extra into it. My favourite bit is treating a barrelstalk like a giant bread bowl! #bg3 #art
