Getting ready for the fall with some flash.
My process admittedly sucks. Grabbed references of sailor Jerry pinups hyper rough sketched the outline, tossed the reference, traces the rough sketch, adding details for each movie character, traced a final draft, trace again with an AmTrad brush...

I will be keeping my eyes open for dryads saddle from now on. Those were the tastiest savory steak-like mushrooms that I've ever made.

I feel like... I'm too tired to internalize feeling like such an idiot for not doing this sooner. I've had this piece in mind as a representation of my anxiety around not knowing what to do. Feeling aimless and lost in a sandstorm, directive clues clearly available but jumbled heavy and unsorted.

I forget to post stuff here, mostly because of too much work and not enough spoons. We ate with this one yesterday though. Think I caught that shiny coat really well.

The progress she be progressing.
Planning on busting out the glazing liquid and reintroducing oranges into the swirls and tones, especially by the right middle and bottom. Pondering if I should line the contours of the cloud work with more substantiative lines or keep em nice and smooth.

I had a no call and finally had the gumption to clean up my art room and get some sketching done. I hate that doing art isn't my main and first go-to to drive away the blues. Because it works. Art and nature.

Big ol snake coverup. Hiding butterflies that spiral down the leg with a snek. Session 3 so far. As we hit the foot we're transitioning into more mushrooms and ferns instead of peonies. We might give her a skeletal snake as a counterbalancing element for the negative space.
