NPR did a segment on the death of Tatiana Schlossberg that failed to mention she was the daughter of Caroline Kennedy. Seems an odd editorial decision.

Two ideas for what to do with Trump’s idiotic ballroom when he finally goes away: Demolish it immediately, preferably with a giant sledgehammer. Turn it into a museum celebrating black and women’s history, and immigration in America.

So here is a crazy prediction but given the way things are going, not really. In 2026, Trump will change the name of Greenland to Red, White and Blue Land and demand that Google incorporate the change on Google Maps. Google will comply.

What's really almost funny is how these self-styled individual-freedom warriors are really modern-day Puritans, wanting to impose their rigid lifestyle choices on everyone. Not to discredit Puritans, who at least were authentic in their religious fervor, cultivated virtue, and believed in community.

Any agreement to pause the Ukraine war MUST include: no bar of Ukraine's joining NATO; no reduction in its army; full provision of foreign troops to prevent further Russian invasions; full return of Ukrainians kidnapped by Russia. Without these elements, it is a sham treaty, period.

I don't see Musk or Medvedev calling for the dissolution of the Commonwealth of Independent States or the end of Moscow's influence over post-Soviet republics in the name of sovereignty.
