A little update on this.
Turns out the video lag actually happens while the video's playing, too. Longer videos are especially noticeable.
Apparently turning off hardware acceleration on my browser (at least with only the iGPU active) really irons out the audio / video desyncing.

Actually I do want to add on here:
* YouTube video now lags the audio whenever I decide to skip around. So I have to change the quality of the video to get it resynced, which...annoying. 😑
I don't know if that's related to the CPU or it running like this on a Windows 11 machine.

Other first impressions:
* Can get warm while charging (the new charging brick will be considerably warmer compared to the old one), but not awful.
* While the screen is more color accurate and sharper, it's like half the time I'm seeing something that has a sepia or outdoor sunset filter to it.

I used to think there weren't many Black VTubers. But when I looked into it. There are MANY. Just like with everything for Black people, it's just that much harder for them to be recognized. It's also harder for them to gain visibility, get collabs and opportunities.

Losing Tinu last year and now Alice. I am heartbroken. There's been way too much loss in the disability community. So many people are now gone. Too many to list.

I actually do want to talk more about the new V-Tuber show that ASHA_EXE has going on with VTuneFM, as I was able to catch Show #2 last night.
And part of me wants to give some grace since it's still in its infancy. In fact, I'm honestly more glad that we got this at all.
