The feelings I’ve been feeling the last day from seeing Maybe Happy Ending is something I haven’t felt in a long while. I tried listening to the cast album today and I started crying all over again and had to stop. It’s wonderful when art impacts you in this way. It was so beautiful.

My sister and I had an amazing day seeing two broadway shows. The first? Gypsy with Audra Macdonald. The second? Maybe Happy Ending. Maybe Happy Ending was a marvel. An original story with incredible production design. Go see it if you can.

I just wish I knew exactly what I’m doing wrong. Chronic pain sucks. Today is pretty mild but I’m just uncomfortable all the time. And where I’m uncomfortable changes every day. I’m tired. Mentally and Physically.

Today I had an anxious student come in to take an open book take home exam. I was her cheerleader the whole way, and she survived! It’s little moments like this that I just LOVE what I do.

Today my back is less tight, thank goodness. But my left glute is so messy. I’m nervous about my massage today, but I’m hopeful this flare up is slowly behind me

The #SNL50 event was so fun! There were some definite misses, but overall it was a great show. I definitely need more of Eddie Murphy doing his Tracy Morgan impression…that had me howling

I’m whittling down my scraps while simultaneously restocking my heart stash. I’m loving how all of these are turning out. Holding the yarn double is creating so many cool combinations!

Woke up pretty stiff and sore this morning. I had to back out of an event I was going to sell knitting at. I’m experimenting with pillows under my knees cuz my bolster helps my sciatica but makes my low back and hips messy. Used a thinner pillow and got a similar result. Ugh. Chronic pain sucks.

Knitters: if you finish a little project and use up the yarn right before the color change in a self striping yarn…does that count as winning yarn chicken?

Chronic pain sucks. Trying not to have a meltdown today cuz I didn’t get a lot of sleep due to my hip and thigh burning and stabbing last night. I wish I had a different body.

I used to be able to stay up well past midnight often. Hell, during the pandemic I would go to bed around 4am. Now a days? If I’m up past ten I’m wrecked the next day. I went to bed at 1 on Saturday and I’m still feeling it today 😴

Day 4 of disassociating with Christopher Cross’ music catalogue is postponed due to a snow day. I’ve now listened to his first 4 albums and I gotta say, his first is still the best. I will saunter on, just taking a day off.
