251 year old, solid silver, Swan automaton, at Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle. It is simply magical and awe-inspiring. Performs once a day at 2pm.

The 'Low Lights' pub, #NorthShields on the Tyne has always been a favourite of fishemen. In the 50s a chap painted a steam trawler on the wall... after later refurbs it went missing... then was found again! This is Tom (& Albert) talking about the day he was washed overboard youtu.be/1EW7cpdgwKg
