Dad Tip: In situations where you are going home angry and know you are going to give your son a spanking (for instance getting a call at work), decide beforehand what the punishment will be and try to stick to it. You can always make adjustments in the moment, but planning keeps feelings in check.

Daddy’s: It’s important to have a bedtime inspection for your son after a spanking. This gives you the opportunity to make sure his bottom is still appropriate red and sore, and take care of any bruises or marks. Apply lotion or a “behind reminder” at this time as needed.
