Have not filled any of my availability for 2026. Just throwing that out there again. Line editor looking for work. Sorry, no frilly post about it today; life is crushing me this week and I haven't worked since November.

500 words between yesterday and today. Found out the love interest and the father figure (who work together) do NOT like each other. Pantsing is fun
I know when I do the next draft that I have to add way more things with the women of the story. This skelly-draft is a veritable sausage fest right now

Writing a Norse fantasy without toxic masculinity and with soft boys is such a joy, honestly. I love my little Viking gremlins, and I can't wait to be able to share them with the world

Well

Maybe 2027 will be the year I'm booked every month...

What's the point of doing something creative if it's easy? Where's the reward in being creative if it's easy?

Can't have fucking healthcare because it's too expensive but we have the money to buy a fucking country?

Make that make sense.

I've been more active on Threads than any other platform lately, so if you want to keep up with what's going on at Space Mage be sure you're following me there

Not like anyone's gonna see this post on this platform since my posts never get seen here, but ya know

Dealing with personal issues at the moment with my husband's family, so I'll be a little on the quiet(er) side for a bit, but just wanted to send out a reminder that I am still available for line editing this month

The skelly-draft of Fates of Chaos 1 has been kicking my ass the last couple days. I don't think I've gotten more than 50 words added a day since before New Years.

But every new word is one word closer to finished, and I can make it better in the next draft

Think I'm tapping out of Vikings. Just not really jiving with a show that has brutal deaths every scene. And I just don't care about the characters. Watched the first episode of season 5 tonight, and I definitely lost interest somewhere in season 1, so just gonna call it quits.

It's interesting how much easier it is for me to get absorbed into the books I'm reading since I shut the progress bar off on my e-reader. Guess watching the page numbers while reading pulled me out more than I realized

I'm just gonna put some music on and read this morning

*Two hours later* Concert? Performed. Book? Not read.

Expedition 33 feels like a slower paced Elden Ring and I think that's why I'm loving it so much
