NASA’s temporary administrator now says he wants to cancel all earth science research. He wants NASA to be only technology focused to get to the moon and mars. I hope the voting public on both sides of the isle can comprehend what this means for weather forecasting and civil preparedness…

This is not a major issue yet but very soon our textbook publishers will send their drafts to Texas, Florida and California to test whether they will be adopted in those states. This will determine what texts students in all other states will read. Texas and Florida are MAGA states so do the math.

I am terrified that NASA will lose half of its science research funding that supports weather forecasting and all the exciting discoveries that feed our brains and keep our children excited about the world. Please do all you can to deny Musk this victory. Only China benefits from this.
