INSTAR DAY!! have an alternate timeline of mine that uses the official design with the twist of captured wreatures blended into the suspiciously yellow flesh cloak. this Instar never found Somsnosa and Absent Moon events uprooted his life, pushing him to seek protection and control

Instar, with his real design scrapped from hylics that was revealed year ago, with my idea addition of his outer yellow cloak being made of living, captured wreatures under his control. he is using one to lash out its hands to the right. there is also a clearer drawing of his face which was wrecked into tendrils that flow behind his head. he is standing on green grass, and this art set was colored with alcohol markers instar sitting on the ground letting an anomalocaris-like wreature partially emerge from the cloak. his control simultaneously raising the wreatures appendages and his own face tendrils, giving off a disinterest of being approached. it is also serene and embracing, leaving the nature of the alarming symbiosis to be unclear or grey.
