FINAL FANTASY XIII
While I had played a bit of FF before, the hype leading into this game is what got me to lock in and play most of the series. I started at IV and worked my way up to XIII.
As for XIII, it's a pretty good game but a step back in some ways. Still, I'd like to replay it this year.

Akari is now one of my all-time favorite characters. A bit naive, but always sees the good in even the smallest of everyday life things. Makes friends wherever she goes: young, old, or cat. Radiates warmth and kindness. It's easy to see why everyone gravitates to her.

FINAL FANTASY XII
I've always thought this game was a great direction for the series. Large zones to explore, the License Board, and Gambits. Better voice acting (though compressed). And it takes place in Ivalice!
Opinions were mixed at the time but I think it's improved a lot since the remaster.

FINAL FANTASY X-2
Here we have the first direct sequel in the series, FFX-2. Here's the thing. It's not a bad game at all. But IMO the ending of X was PERFECT (my favorite ending) and so I'm kind of just opposed to the idea of a X sequel at all. For that reason I've only played this one once.

11. This show was a wild ride. Vivy- Fluorite Eyes Song is a Sci Fi action show with fantastic animation. The main character Vivy is out to spread happiness with her singing but is then tasked with saving the future from destruction. It's a very cool show and I enjoyed this a lot

10. I recently rewatched this again and it's still amazing 😌.
K-on is probably one of the most comfy animes you could watch, all the characters are amazing. It has 2 seasons and a movie and the movie is one of my favorites. My favorite character personally is Azusa, the most normal/ sane one lol

I love this game a lot. While I wouldn't call it my absolute favorite, a pretty good argument can be made for it being the best FF. After VII and VIII went more sci-fi, IX brings it back to the classic style.
