I never learned how to do art digitally, so I always work with traditional media, usually pencils (graphite and colored), pens, Sharpies, and alcohol markers.

Been thinking this morning, about what might be bothering me about my art style is that I can never figure out the right balance between Western and Eastern influences.
There’s elements of both, as it’s always been, but sometimes I feel like I try to lean too hard into the Eastern inspirations.

I’m a bit late, but I finally got to watching the Del Toro Frankenstein tonight. (I had originally planned to watch it on Halloween, aha.)
Phenomenal, very much lived up to all the good I had heard, even had me choke up at a couple points.

Went for a sunset walk in the cold to reflect a bit, about what I think is one of my biggest flaws as a person.
I have very bad people-pleasing tendencies, and the extent to which I will sit on my hands to avoid doing *anything* that inconveniences others holds me back more than I want to admit.

I wanna do some experiments with monochromatic art this month. Might be a little harder to do without using paint, but I *might* have figured out a workaround.
I think it’d be fun to break it down into panels, like one for blue only and another for pink only.
