Flirting with a light freeze tonight, and there are plants in the kitchen garden we want to save for a few more weeks. So I improvised this cover from old tarps, 1x10s, and twine. Thanks to BSA for the old lashing skills, and my kids for the "hold this while I tie it" help.

Don't give up on butterfly bush just because it "burned up and died" the previous fall. Shes a hardy little gal, and might just surprise ya in the spring!
