While I’m a fan of launching cute merchandise alongside games (Rosalina’s Storybook and Super Mario Wonder Talking Flower) I’m not a fan of launching a new game with paid DLC. If the DLC is ready to go, then shouldn’t it be part of the original game? If not, at least space it out. Just feels wrong…

Found this little piece of unique Final Fantasy III ( #FFVI ) US history a few weekends ago. This special mail order OST was part of Squaresoft’s Square Ware merchandise catalogue. I use the term catalogue lightly as only a handful of items were available.
