Hard to say when I began photography, but I know exactly when I began to shoot #artnude Before, I shot mainly friends: I was wary of a genre that might blur lines. Then Desiree messaged: German, modelling to fund her travels. Shoot today, gone tomorrow. I took the leap.

This image is from the tailend of one of my favorite shoots, in Barcelona. Working in my dimly-lit apartment, Eva (now retired) was a bit late. We got the golden light off the street as the sun set, but were soon left in the dark. So we made do with a single lamp, and this skull we found on the wall

The 'Call of the Void': a seductive impulse to jump or let yourself fall from a high place. While scary, those experiencing it are not at risk of putting the urge into action: one theory is that it acts as a safety drill for a one's self-preservation instincts.
