Hiiiiii I’m Sophia (they/them) I’m a tattoo artist in Chicago and I got plenty of availability this winter so hmu (fill out my google form lol) to book with me :))))))

Tattoo of a woman, mostly her back side showing, with a dark red cloth draping onto the lower half of her torso that she is holding to herself. In her other hand she is holding a skull that she seems to be pondering. She has long black hair. There is an omniscient greenish Smokey background color. Color tattoo of a carefree lady who is dropping flowers that gradually get larger as they fall, giving the illusion of perspective. There is a blue bird in front of her flying in the directions of where the flowers end. The style of the lady is painterly, while the bird and the flowers are more neo-traditional. tattoo of a branch of clementines and leaves going up the back of the arm. The fruits and leaves in the foreground are bright orange and green while the ones in the background use more neutral oranges and greens to show depth. The style is painterly/illustrative.

finished up this sheet yesterday :)

The background is tea stained to look like stained glass with stars sprinkled about.

never got around to posting this here but this was my qualifier for my CCL class grouping from last week and I was really pleased with it after having done a really bad job at a USPSA competition 3 weeks ago. I know it’s different shooting under pressure, but I think also what especially helped was-
A target (at a shooting range) slouched on a red table showing a small grouping of 30 rounds (10 at 5yds, 10 at 7yds, 10 at 10yds) put right in the center of the target. My left hand (tattooed) is holding the paper up on the table.

A tattoo on the forearm of a sentry from the video game slay the spire in my own simplified/ornamental-like style with some leaf like minimalist filigree surrounding it. There is green in the filigree and a bronze color in the sentry itself.

His outfit is a sparkly disco fit straight out of the 70s. He looks fly as fuck. The tattoo uses sparkle techniques and is on melanated skin, in the area of the ribs right up by the armpit.

WIP larkspur tat, adding color later :)

Fibromyalgia sucks because going on a bike ride generally helps but if that bike ride is just a LITTTTTTTLE too extraneous or it’s raining or my clothes are not right all the sudden I’m in horrible pain, have a headache and fatigue for like 3 days 🙃

finished tattoo flash painting. In the top corners are little traditional flowers representing life (left) and death (right). In the bottom corners are two roses, the left one representing death as it is wilting, and the right one representing life as it is bright and upright. In between the roses there is a red sacred heart with a skull image inside and flames turning into tears/droplets coming from the top, next to that is a tribal eye, and next to that is a weeping willow tree with some stars and grass around it. Directly above the “life” rose is a small gravestone surrounded by vines and there is a red flower in front of it. Above that is 5 interlocking wood-grain spiked chain links getting larger and lighter as they go down, indicating perspective. Directly above the willow tree is a structured portal with a big yellow star in the left corner and stairs that get less distressed as they go up into the portal (or more distressed as they descend down) and the bottom is framed by tribal. To the left of that is a more organic looking magic portal in the shape of a swirl/question mark with different colors weaving through it. Above that is another tribal eye, and to the left of those is another sacred heart, more plain inside but with a slice and a single droplet of blood coming from the slice. The top of the sacred heart is more tribal looking flames. Lastly, to the left of that is a surreal looking castle spire fragment that seems to be crumbling. There is a long flag that wraps around the steep roof, and there is a window in the spire with an arm/hand in a proportion that wouldn’t make sense in real life extending from the window to meet a yellow butterfly.

A tea-stained flash sheet work in progress, just the black shading in speedball ink is shown. The sheet is based on life and death and has flowers, sacred hearts, portals, a willow tree, a gravestone, tribal eyes, a surreal castle spire, and some spiked chains.
