PBD's policy analyst guy complaining that Lina Khan was always trying to stop mergers...

What else is the FTC supposed to do?

It's like asking why cops spend so much time stopping crime - why don't they switch it up and stop us from doing stuff that's legal sometimes?

The Senate Democrats spent 12 out of the last 17 years saying they *needed* to maintain the filibuster rules in case of a far-Right Republican presidency.

That was why we couldn't pass public health care. That was why we couldn't pass the full infrastructure bill. Or half a dozen other bills.

Here's how Graham Platner could have avoided getting a Nazi tattoo in 2009:

Take out his flip-phone, call somebody who he could expect to be near a desktop computer, ask them to Google "death's head" in German and HOPE any possible Nazi versions shows up and ask the person to DESCRIBE IT TO HIM.

If right-wing politicos like Cuomo believed their own lies about Zohran Mamdani, they'd be busy stockpiling weapons and blocking city streets with barricades and barbed wire fences.

Instead, they're looking forward to 4 years of sitting on the sidelines, cooking up more lies about him.

So glad to see politicians being scrutinized for taking large sums of money from people they'll later be able to grant favors for.

There are too many politically connected people who are handed large sums of cash for no reason. In both parties.

And it didn't use to be that way!
Last year, Andrew Cuomo brought in nearly $5 million for "consulting."

We don't know who paid him.

Or who he now owes.

@kaivanshroff.bsky.social It's dishonest to bring up Clinton's speeches without pointing out that she personally received 600.000 USD from Goldman Sachs.

This after credible reports that Obama had allowed Goldman Sachs execs to pick his financial team.

It's literally just quid-pro-quo corruption.

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny when you're asked "how can you lead without more executive experience?" and then a couple of minutes later the question is "how will you know which parades to attend??"

TFW you've been at work 11 hours and your roomie, who is unemployed, could have dealt with everything that might possibly have worried them, but instead seems to have "saved" it so as to be able to badger you about it when you're trying to shower.

I don't know why Bluesky keeps showing me sports related stuff constantly when I never indicated any interest.

Maybe "sports journalism" is under the "journalism" category and that's why? But I'm not even getting sports news, just tons of random people commenting on games I don't even know of.

Ja!

Firstly - you're such a NERD for knowing the name of main character in a movie series that won 17 Oscars (Samwise). 😂

I'm referencing a caller of yours who had named his child after Samwise Gamgee, in case you don't remember. Your reaction was so funny 😂
