Marketplace buyer offers a lower price.

Me: Sure.

Buyer (3 hours later): I had to leave for a while, can I etransfer the full amount to hold it?

Me: Sorry, cash only on pick up.

Buyer: Well if you won’t make a deal then sell it someone else.

Me: 🤷‍♀️

Possibly a scam.

So we have some outdoor items that have disappeared since last year. Weird but ok.

1 item recently I believe may have been picked up by the wind and over our fence.

Our neighbours have stuff everywhere on their property.
I thought I saw this item in a pile on the front porch.

We are taking care of an elderly neighbour’s house and cat while they’re away visiting family and they’re sending postcards to the cat ❤️

Same colleague is sick again…
Wanted to come in to the office today anyway but I said no.
Colleague: Sick again (3rd time since Christmas). Why haven’t you been sick?

Me (masking, vaccinated and tired of talking about it): It’s a mystery.

“The message from Trump is that there is no point in being his ally: he will not defend you, he will impose higher tariffs on you than on his enemies, and he will threaten to seize your territory while at the same time supporting the dictatorships invading you.”

A French senator’s rousing speech...
Address by Claude Malhuret to the French Senate
In a stirring speech last week a French Senator turned an uncompromising eye on recent developments in the USA and in its relations with Europe

Arguing against vaccines because the risk of catching a vaccine preventable illness is low is counterintuitive.

Trump and Vance are bullies.
No point in attempting to negotiate with the US. They can’t be trusted.

Is it a strong mandate if Conservatives win with less seats?
February 28, 2025 at 2:42 AM
My riding is staying Liberal.

We did our part.

Fuck Conservatives, their voters and people that can’t be bothered.

Colleague telling me that, by wearing a mask, I will be sicker when I catch something. That he’s building his immune system…

Ontarians’ #1 issue is healthcare.

Doug Ford promises lower alcohol prices.

Conservatives lead in polls.

Are you unhappy with Doug Ford but not voting?
You’re helping him win.

Opposition parties need to stop splitting the anti-Ford vote.

Every vote counts.
Every vote cast against Ford makes it harder for him to win.

Doug Ford isn’t winning elections because Ontario loves him. He’s winning because voter apathy is doing the heavy lifting for him. This and more thoughts in my latest post at my new Substack post!
