January was a good month for reading as I was off work! Made a good start on goals to read some nonfiction and more ebooks.

It's been over 5 weeks since my surgery! So glad I got it sorted before the end of the year. It's so important to know your own body and to speak to a doctor if you think something is wrong. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this journey ❤️

Day got off to a great start watching Your Fat Friend on BBC iPlayer. Felt well enough to walk to the library and grab a coffee this afternoon, only to sit next to a couple LOUDLY talking about weight loss, targets, and how "it's all about health". Sigh.

First read of 2025 was The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods! I was gifted this by a friend and colleague at the end of 2024 - she knew I'd been enjoying a run of books about books / bookshops and this was a lovely addition. Bit slow at first but once I got into it, I was hooked!
