Can confirm. That song was all over the radio the summer before I started 4th grade. Somehow ended up with a masters degree in jazz studies and a closet full of saxophones.

I wish I had been a bit more imaginative in my wardrobe choices from age 13 to about 25 but I got kinda hung up on the idea that it was VERY important to all who see me know what bands I currently like.

A recurring theme in my life is seeing a band name and assuming they're a ska band then cutting them a wide berth. Years later I would discover they're not a ska band and are actually kinda good. TIL Smoking Popes aren't a ska band.

Just found it'll be another week and a half til I find out if my car is gonna be repaired or written off after getting rear ended on the 16th.
One day I'll find it funny that the guy tried to bribe me with 20 bucks to lie as to who was driving
