Fred Rogers does seem to have been a genuinely decent human being and also he would probably be the first to tell you not to idolize him, but to find in yourself what is beautiful and special and hold that up to the light so that you can see it clearly, and can everyone else.

Fred Rogers does seem to have been a genuinely decent human being and also he would probably be the first to tell you not to idolize him, but to find in yourself what is beautiful and special and hold that up to the light so that you can see it clearly, and can everyone else.

I have noticed that announcing my desire to not discuss the incoming president or his appointments goes entirely ignored by many outraged folks that look like me. We'll get to work in January. Until then this is all just talk.
