My 4000k follower #poem celebration. #prompt courtesy of @yeehawpoems.bsky.social. I kind of want to lengthen it. Or leastwise change the spacing do its river shaped. Will update you if I go back to edit it like that or to add another segment. More #poetry soon. Just needs typed. Hugs all around 🤗

Sometimes people find out I used to have a vaguely glamorous job where I met lots of rock stars and film stars and they're like "I bet you have LOADS of great stories about that time in your life" and I'm like "Nope not really but I do have quite a good story about badgers if you want to hear that?"

Still time to enter this. I'll choose and announce the winners early afternoon tomorrow (Sunday) and post the books and hares on Monday.

The hares work well as bookmarks but you might decide they're a bit too nice for that. They're originals, not "copies". Linocut by my mum, Jo, on v nice paper.
I thought it might be nice to give away my last 2 signed hardbacks of my novel 1983, with two lovely linocut hares by my mum.

All you have to do to enter is repost this (& leave a reply).

The book's been called "Stranger Things rewritten by Kurt Vonnegut and Sue Townsend”.
Extract in the replies.
