What to know about plug-in solar - Solar United Neighbors
Plug-in solar, also called balcony solar, are solar panels that connect to a standard power outlet. They supply power directly to your home. They are a plug and play way to reduce our reliance on the electric grid and lower your energy bill without the need for a permit. Small scale plug-in systems can be placed on a balcony, in a front or backyard, or on a roof deck. You can also add a battery to store the electricity they generate.
