Get to the self service till in Chichester #Waitrose and it says I need to pay £99. Before I start scanning. Called member of staff over and yes person before me has walked out without paying. Staff say they can't do anything. I'm fuming!

The free hour of electricity from @octopus.energy is very stressful. Half hour to turn everything on and another half hour to turn them off again.

80 year's ago today my mum was working as a telephone operator in Churchill's War Rooms. News came through that the war in Europe was over and she left her post to join the celebrations in Trafalgar Square. Her husband, my dad was still fighting in Burma #VEDay

Will obviously commemorate VE Day but not forgetting VJ Day. My dad was fighting in Burma on VE Day and it was another year before WW2 was over and he could come home #vjday
