The event brought together researchers from 14 nationalities, from Europe to Japan, through Central Asia and the Near East.
It concluded on a moving note as L. Iakovleva (Kyiv) reminded us of the challenges of doing science amid geopolitical turmoil — ending with a heartfelt “Vive la paix!” 🇫🇷🕊️

This inspiring meeting, supported by the GPR Human Past and my project Threads, was initiated by our dear colleague T. Tsanova, a former PACEA PhD student.
