Excited to be joining the UK WEN Steering Committee and to co-lead the ‘Support’ workstream with Helena Fornwagner! We’ll be focusing on career conversation events for early to mid-career women economists. I am delighted to be part of such an inspiring group!
🎉 Misa Tanaka @bankofengland.bsky.social will chair @ukwen.bsky.social from Nov 2025, succeeding Almudena Sevilla CBE.

We also welcome @helenafornwagner.bsky.social & @sofizqsan.bsky.social to the #UKWEN Steering Committee!

The speakers — Joey Connolly, Simon Ross, Michelle Collier & Neil Sprunt — sparked a lively, insightful discussion.
