Something about this panel from @2000ad.bsky.social Prog 2451 just made me smile very broadly. Top of your already legendary game @robwilliams71.bsky.social and @henryflint.bsky.social - loving it.

Is there any more terrifying way to start the day than being told by your phone that your “Face does not exist”?

It’s what passes for an Easter Parade down our way.

Enjoyed the Doctor Who The Savages DVD a lot more than I was expecting. Two great documentaries on there.

4 3 2 1 was a weekly appointment for me throughout the winter. From November to today, every Sunday was an opportunity to read a chapter, maybe two. Had been sitting formidably on my to read pile for too long but glad I took my time over it. Engrossing.

Not sure that there’s any creative soul had more impact on me than David Lynch. Wild at Heart the sexiest, Lost Highway the scariest, The Straight Story the weepiest and all of Twin Peaks just the bestest. I will treasure every single shot forever.

Ah yes, classic “last day of the Christmas holidays” feels.

That’s enough Christmas perhaps?

Far too early for a massacre of the trees surely? #edinburgh

Reading that Elon Musk will not be getting the highest US Security Clearance. Does that preclude him from all the bathrooms at Mar-a-Lago?

It seems, most definitely, a slow cooker sort of day.

Why does every second advert on TV these days seem to involve the “consumer” of the “product” screaming at said “product” in the manner of a body snatcher?

Not going to name the #edfringe show but if I felt disappointed by this supposedly 5 star, that was nothing compared to the lady sat next to me who started reading a book 15 minutes in.

This place does not quite seem to be an #edfringe outpost but for those who are around Edinburgh for the next week, do try and fit FameHungry at Summerhall into your schedule. Riotously good.

Bah TOTP 1995 on BBC4. Checks watch. 29 years ago.

Poor Things was excellent and highly recommended. Pulls off the remarkable feat of both being a very faithful adaptation but also entirely its own thing.

Not enough is being made of the fact that we’re nearly a quarter through the 21st Century. Discuss.

Trying out a bit of X cold turkey by removing app from home screens. After 24 hours, there are a ton of notifications trying to lure me back.

i understand there are people who take Yann LeCun's opinions seriously for some reason. Here's where he tells you to write for free because, when he says "society", he means his AI team at Facebook.
