Today is my birthday and it has been an improvement on last year. It is officially a year since my face decided to collapse thanks to Bell’s Palsy. I have been left with a permanent wonky lest side. Just as well I was never much of a looker anyway! I am wearing this crown because it is my birthday

Christmas is always a fairly shitty time as it reminds me of fairly traumatic events from childhood. I always find it pretty lonely. This year is extra hard as Alfie is not with me. The puppy cuddles are helping today though.
