Just adding onto this, if you seek validation from your friends through them calling you “powerful,” I think you seriously need help.

This might be a hot take but I think power fetishists are a bit unhealthy. The ones that HAVE to be dom/on top of everybody 24/7 just seems like a recipe for disaster in a fandom this diverse.
Ditch the size contest mindset, let your friends have some fun and explore your other side sometimes too.
