Whatever Knies is battling, it’s definitely impacting his game. He’s averaged more than 2 hits per game this season but only has 5 total in his past 6. Not initiating contact as much lately.

People wonder why the Leafs don't draw many penalties and well... tonight is a perfect example. You don't tend to get power plays when you aren't moving your feet and playing in your own end all night.

In his past 5 starts, Connor Ingram has allowed just 7 goals and owns a .947 percentage. He has quality starts in every game but one since being called up by the Oilers. Edmonton may have found something here. #LetsGoOilers

Maple Leafs PK has come up huge late in games vs. Philly, Colorado and Winnipeg over the last little bit. Done an incredible job under 5 minutes left in all those games keeping it tied.

Hard to believe the Leafs once had 2026 Olympians Pontus Holmberg, David Kampf, Denis Malgin and Martin Marincin on the roster and let them all walk. And we wonder why they’re having a down year.

Maybe the Leafs have dug themselves too big of a hole and there's too many teams to pass. But, of all the teams battling for those final spots, they have just as much high-end talent as anyone, their goaltending is as good as anyone and their centre depth is as good as anyone.
