I saw one from the top of my wish list today - the Belted Kingfisher. As an added bonus, I also saw a family of Wood Ducks, which are the least boring ducks. 🪶#birds

I was looking at the usual mix of juncos, house finches, house sparrows and white crowned sparrows at the feeder this morning and was excited to see this lone pine siskin! 🪶#birds

Mr. Blue Grosbeak seen at Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico last summer. Rarely do birds perch so obligingly but this guy remained perched on the mesquite for about a dozen shots! 🪶#birds
