I've started RosannaTxt's Pack Legacy Challenge. rosannatxt.notion.site/Generations-...
Each generation represents a different expansion/game/stuff pack. Generation 1 is Outdoor Retreat, but I wanted a Base Game generation, so I'm using my and my husband's Simselves as Gen 0 founders.

I knew I was jinxing myself. Alpha has been pushed back to Dec 3rd which sucks because I was looking forward to playing over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
I need the Autonomica alpha to go live on Wednesday as planned. Of the games I've played this year, I've only really enjoyed Two Point Museum and Coral Island. Please, I need another win.

The Paralives news is disappointing, but in the long run it's the best decision. First impressions weigh heavily, so an unpolished Live mode could be a death blow to the game. We see the hill Inzoi is having to climb from their release. I don't want that for Paralives.

I think the motherboard on my laptop has died. I have recent enough backups of my TS4 saves, but honestly I feel numb about them. Maybe this is the sign to move on.

My daughter's bus driver did not show up today. He didn't call out or anything. The transportation department had no idea he wasn't on the route until we called. I want to believe the best about people, so I'm going to assume an emergency came up rather than he just flaked out.

I've now gotten the five base game museums in Two Point Museum to five stars and completed the story, but I want to get pristine versions of all the exhibits before I move on to the DLC.

I will catch up on Sims news over the weekend. Work has been incredibly draining. A critical team member is out on medical leave, and we're going through a re-org. My brain is mush in the evenings, and feels too fried to read or even play a game.

No spoilers, but yesterday's episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty was rough for me. Not my favorite episode at all. It was made worse coming off me watching Julie and The Phantoms, a show that handled its love triangles maturely.

Just put my kid on the bus for the first day of fifth grade. This is also the beginning of her last year in elementary school. Bittersweet feelings this morning.
