I was trying to download my Simself hous4lehold from the gallery to do this event, but I keep getting connection errors. I'm so tired of fighting with this game. Now, I have to copy my old Tray files from OneDrive. Pretty sure my household is in there.

February is super busy. Disney Dreamlight Valley, The Sims 4, Fields of Mistria, and Autonomica all getting updates. Starsand Island launches into Early Access. Civ 7 also got an update, but it will be awhile before I get back to that game. That's a lot, but I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Fields of Mistria’s 4th Major Update arrives February 23rd ✨
We ended up with two inches of snow, but that was enough to shutdown school for today. Thankfully, the school board gave the kids an actual day off, no remote learning. I'm glad because trying to work and help my kid do her virtual learning at the same time is too much.

Maxis is really going out of their way to warn you in advance this time. Pay attention. Don't corrupt your saves by playing with outdated or non-cleared mods.

Also, I cropped this picture with the native Microsoft Photos app, but Windows won't let the Photos app save files to the Pictures folder. Make it make sense.

Yeah, I get that I literally explained how forecasting works. I'm going to chalk this up to a tantrum caused by me still being about 20% sick.
Here we go again. This is third weekend in a row. This forecast will change every time I check it, and it will probably be all rain by the time Saturday gets here.

I finished up Spring, Year 1 in Fields of Mistria. I really like this game, but the days fly by. I have time set on the Longer setting, but I might move it to Longest. Those mine monsters are no joke either. I need to take a lot of food with me so I don't lose all of my health.

Because it's impossible for life to throw me only one curveball at a time, I'm sick and my freezer has stopped freezing.

I was going to wait until the 1.0 release before I played Fields of Mistria again, but I'm itching to play. I'm starting a new save, so hopefully 1.0 will be out by the time I hit the late game.

I know I complained about Windows 11 constantly turning on OneDrive without my knowledge, but it's actually saved me. I browsed my online archive, and my forever TS4 save is there. I had a copy backed up on my Google Drive, but the OneDrive version is more recent.

Windows 11 fought with that Sims update. Had to grant folder permissions in Windows Security settings. I also noticed Windows was blocking me from saving screenshots in DDV. My ISP has been blocking a ton of stuff too. Can they please calm down?

There's a chance of snow on Thursday which would be a bummer because my daughter has a field trip scheduled for that day. Also, it was 70 degrees this weekend, so what gives, Mother Nature????

It looks like there is a Coach collab coming in the base game update for The Sims 4 tomorrow. That hits me in the feels. The last gift my mom gave me before she passed away was a Coach purse.

And that's all of the Coral Island achievements completed! I'm going to put this game on the back burner until Update 1.3 comes out. I completed the main storyline last Spring, so there isn't much drawing me back at the moment.

I finished the Wishblossom Ranch main story line last night. I see what people mean now about it ending abruptly. Also, that final quest was ridiculously easy. The hardest part was leveling up the horse to unlock it.

I didn't think I'd be interested in anything from the Night Show Star Path, so I missed out on this water curtain. It finally came up in the Premium shop, so I bought it. I'm looking forward to decorating with it.
