It has been a hectic few days for me. Essentially, a hectic round of packing and just getting all my stuff transferred out of the house while it is getting renovated.

🍁Japan 2024 - Day 9 🍁

We spent the day making our very own display food! @snares.bsky.social made a flying spaghetti and I made an omurice.

It is one of those iconic #Japanese experiences seeing a ton of cabinets out at the front of restaurants with their plethora of food displays.

The two closer trays consist of small orange shards of plastic on the left and white plastic for the one on the right. They are meant to replicate diced carrots and rice respectively. A picture of a pair of hands holding up a block of yellow plastic that is meant to replicate strands of spaghetti. A picture of a replica of a sliced omelette rice that has been sliced in the middle with fried rice spilling out. The replica sits on a plate wrapped in aluminium foil.

🍁Japan 2024 - Day 9🍁

@snares.bsky.social arranged for something special for us to do, and it starts with a gentle stroll from Asakusa, over to Tokyo Skytree, and then back to Asakusa again.

#Autumn truly is really pretty in #Tokyo.
