In 112, bk!Rhaenyra would have been ≤15 & Aemma died when she was ≤8. But in the show, they imply that Aemma was preg w/Rhaenyra during the 101 GC, which should have made ep 1 Rhaenyra ≤ 11, not ≤15 (14) as Condal says we should think it!

I dislike HotD PRIMARILY for its "benevolent" sexist writing, many internal inconsistencies *they* set up independently, AND its frequent use of the "accident" & indecision to drive its plot forward, which minimizes several critical characters' accountability & intelligence.

Why is it when HotD made Baelor *possibly* either cheat on Alyssa or have some hanky-panky after her death (Ulf), people r screaming, crying character assassination...

People were going around claiming Laena was less deserving of a dragon-claiming scene than Aemond because she died before the Dance & apparently she & Rhaenyra didn't have a close relationship...meanwhile canonically (bk), yes they did.
